im debating on running a very small 35shot on the car for a little extra kick. this will be on a low low 10second car in the 130's. now being as i run meth does the nozzle for the n20 go before the nozzle for the meth or after it on the up pipe. now with a 35 shot will i even have to worry about adding fuel or could i do that with the chip and or fuel pressure??? just looking for basics on adding a small shot with methanol. thanks.....

From what I have researched, wet shots work real good on these turbobuicks so the fuel is added in with nitrous. You would have 3 nozzles now.

yes i will be using a wet shot if it is needed with such a small shot. i will take the fuel right off the rail if needed. need to know where is the best place for the 3rd nozzle among other questions about this set up

Put it in the up-pipe pre alky. Doesnt matter where as solenoids are being used.

I agree but I wouldn't put it too far away from the TB otherwise you may be losing a lot of the cooling affect from the N2O. Any "logical" place that works for you should be fine..

He's got alky ;)

Plus air velocity.. at WOT 30 PSI.. that air moves pretty fast.. dont think you'll have a temp issue.

ok so i know the placement of the nozzle now and i am gonna go with a wet shot for sure. im gonna try to keep this cheap and i have a set of solenoids, nozzle, bottle laying around. im gonna grab a bottle heater as i dont want to be scene warming the bottle up since i street race alot. im gonna pick up a full throttle switch and a guage that i will hide in the glove box. im thinking since at the moment im running 28 degrees in 1-2 and 21 up top that i will take out a degree in the bottom and top gears and start from there. any other ideas keep throwing htem out there, thanks guys

Your going to kill the tires on any street surface with that much timing and boost.

This is how I killed my first one.. it blew the dr's hard hit 6500 and snapped a rod.

So boost controller would be something to look into, or other strategy's to make the car lazy..

In high gear its a hoot.. as it is spooling the turbo.. but that first gear can be a doozy.

To start, I would back off timing 2 degrees for every 50 HP supplied by the NOS system. If no knock, then step up one and check. Play it safe with this stuff. If you're already one step colder on the plugs, you should be OK with a 50 shot. Any higher, start watching the ground electrode for overheating. Cutting back the ground electrode should be a 'must do' procedure for any nitrous setup. If anything gets you in trouble fast, it will be your spark plugs. Watch them very carefully. Learn to read them. You should strongly consider going to a regular nose style spark plug with a back cut side electrode. I would recommend some type of fogger to get the best mix of the nitrous gas and the extra fuel. The jet of nitrous can do a real good job of breaking up the fuel into very small droplets. You'll get less fuel drop out that way. Make sure the fuel jet size of the nitrous system is properly sized for the fuel pressure you'll be using. I think someone posted a chart on another thread. It may be the one referred to earlier in this thread.

car hooks quite well on prepped roads we race on and has even hung the tire a little on some others....im gonna see if this video comes up since i cant figure out how to host one on here.... Video - 6underVS67dart this was leaving at 2psi...the dart goes high 10's on motor and was hitting it with a 250shot
