Has anyone tried wiring in a pressure switch to a relay that would cut voltage to the wastegate solenoid in the event of the alky spray dropping pressure? Some type of 555 timer to allow pressure to be built up before activating the circuit.
Something like one of these.

http://www.hobbs-corp.com/catswitch3.asp the diaphragm is polyimide and can be ordered with teflon diaphragm which may suit our needs better.

I thought someone was testing a plastic flow sensor (maybe SalvageV6?) any news on that?

I have grand plans to build a homemade alky (or propane) sytem next year (maybe). I have a bunch of other stuff I need to do to my car before that. I was thinking along the same lines as you. Pressure switch to drop boost for loss of alky pump. It wouldn't help you if a nozzle plugged (pressure would go up) if you only had a single nozzle system. I was thinking of at least two pairs of nozzles for redundency.

Good idea but I don't 'think', if I'm remembering correctly, that the voltage at the Wg sol. is straight dc, I think it's a modulated voltage so you can't just force a signal on it. I could be wrong but think I'm right.

Another idea is to use some type of bleeder and a vacuum switch of some type that your alky boost switch will turn on and now route the wg boost line to a low boost setting.

I plan at some point to use a 3 port vacuum switch to have a street(noalky) setting then be able to flip a switch to enable alky and a high boost bleed setup via the vacuum switch. That way when the alky isn't on you don't have to feather the throttle and watch the knock gauge to keep out of knock because you have your wg set for high boost but out of alky.

HTH.
