For the people that use the coolant overflow (that is what Razor's kit uses right?) what are you doing for over flow? Seems like the answer would be some small aftermarket bottle mounted near the radiator tank.

Since I use external coolers for oil and trans there are no lines there.

Does the wide band O2 read the alcohol just like plain old fuel - as in the A/F reading will be right? Just asking because the cooling effect seems to extend to the burn temperature too???

From the alky search I did, it looks like a fair amount of tuning is needed to dial it all in just right. Wondering about using something like a Gen 2 MAF device with WB O2 or ?????? It sounds like the TT chips are also a good way to go with alky but is there the self correction that one may get with the WB O2 and MAF device?

Mini overflow is included. You can place that anywhere. I typically place it in front of the battery.

As for tuning.. sky is the limit. Everything can be made to work.. just depends on your level of involvement. Some just do an alky chip.. other do an XFI from FAST.. in between those two lies your options. What ever you decide.. start with something you already know about.. get that close.. then work on getting it even closer.

thanks Razor

i learned a lot after reading your sticky post - it did not show up in the search due to my search words.

now i just need to learn a bit more about the different tuning systems.

Wide Band seems like a great way to go to learn true AFR.

Then something that is close to stock but lets me move timing and fuel + and -

It sounds like the Gen 2 MAF device will just let me select AFR and either add or subtract fuel as needed to maintain the AFR - not sure if there is a less expensive way to go to do all that. Seems like the other systems require constent monitoring and adjusting to keep it in ideal range.

Sometimes you need to be careful and not put the carriage before the horse. The Buick is a "figured out" car.. meaning the chips available and tuning they afford is typically sufficient for most.. that said, keep your tuning options simple to start.. then complicate as needed.

Starting complicated doesnt lead to better.. just leads to more questions to be asked.

KISS  is the best principle
