I just bought my alky kit, have yet to install. My mods include:
Tin Man cold air
Translator
Scamaster
60lb injectors
fuel pump
adjustable waste gate and fuel reg
160 thermostat
Gut cat and 2 3/4 with magnaflow

Do I need any other supporting mods before I install my Alky.. ie GNX brace or up pipe etc...

I'm assuming you purchased the hot-wire kit as well. If it's a "T"-top car, the gnx brace is a great idea. Mine are hard tops and the "b" pillars are wrinkled. A "TT" chip burned for the mod's. Don't forget the boost control valve, maybe rjc. If affordable, you might want to include a larger I/c neck to improve the air flow from turbo into the I/cooler. I think the pte flows the most. unless you plan to upgrade to a slic or front mount.

Rob...stock turbo good advice on the chip.
Shadow..thanks for the info, with the IC, airflow is key.

Like said above, a hot wire is a must but depending on what fuel pump you have you want to upgrade that also if it's stock or unknown what you have.

All the other stuff isn't needed but could be done down the road. I would start with what you have posted and include the chip and hot wire kit and possibly a new pump.

Install and tune all that and see what you have before throwing everything in the book at it.

If that's not enough for you then you can start talking about other mods that will drain your wallet quick.

If you feel the need to replace your I/C I have a dutt/neck that I could sell you.

Yes, I installed the hotwire and walboro pump last year..

Then you should be good to go. Sorry just saw pump but no listing for the H/W kit.

Thanks, gents....Assuming I can get the stock turbo give me 24-25 pounds of boost and yes, DR's..
My goal is low 12's will I get there with what I have?

Oh ya, definitely low 12s, I would replace PCV. Check out RJC.

Gents, thank you so much..these are great suggestions... I look forward to the install and the big grin on my face the first and everytime I get on her.

stock turbo is good to about 22 23 psi. assuming you have everything else you just need to haul ass!
