Just pulled this out of my TR as I had a brand new Pioneer that was sitting collecting dust. Nothing wrong with this CD player.

It's an Alpine CDA-7840 CD player. This one has a lot of good features; detachable face, BBE (sound enhancer), dual RCA preouts with 4 volts, 6 and 12 disc changer controls, multicolor LCD, auto mute, non fading pre out, black out mode, station titling, disc titling and MDAC.

The sound quality is pretty good. Nice crisp highs and the bass is decent.

With this CD player will come a wiring adapter that is pre-wired to plug directly into the stock wiring harness of your GN. The Alpine does have a yellow wire not part of the harness that requires a full 12 volts all the time - it can be hooked to either the orange wire that plugs into the factory radio via a seperate pigtail or the yellow wire can also be hardwired into the fuse block.

Also if needed I have the radio mount adapter that will allow this radio to fit in your GN's dash if you need it. You will however have to reuse your factory radio's metal mounting brackets.

$85 shipped in the lower 48. Paypal users please add 3%. Thanks
