Just something I fabbed up instead of buying one, even though the material coated almost as much as a prefabbed one. At least I can say i made it haha. Hopefully someone can improve on it... And don't mind the welds, a little drunk driving at the end of that bead and I don't do much aluminum.

Looks good, I had thought about doing one too. But like you said, the materials cost as much to just buy one.
 
yeah the big problem is the shipping to hawaii and the lack of perfromance parts stores. there are just a few and definately nothing for tr's. and no track for that matter
 
Very nice! I would rather make something and possibly spend more than buy one premade if I can. I love seeing guys do DIY stuff. Welds look good too. What machine are you using?
 
its a synchrowave 350 i believe water cooled, all we run is millers. i actually like this machine better than the dynastys cause its real easy to set and get a nice weld. do u work on a sub? im a welder at pearl harbor and i work on the subs
