I've ran them before, back in the day they were kinda the middle ground between a true slick and M/H's (a popular slick/grooved street tire way before Drag radials)and very similar to the more expensive Mickey Thompson "Sportsman pro" they'll even wrinkle up like a slick if you run them low enough. They hook good but need some heat to make them sticky. Plus they handle like.... a bias ply tire cause they are. IMHO in the long run money wise, your better off with a good drag radial, Nitto comes to mind. Why? Cause they, the G-60 Road Star's(I think that's the name of them) don't last long.
