Got a guy at work that claims these are the greatest things going. Anybody have one??

Wow! didnt know so many people had problems with this.
I guess after the first run it went down hill. I never had
any problems. I must be one of the lucky ones

I thought

the Amish did not use electricity so they dont have TV. Someone correct my stupidity. I think its just a 5000 watt heater they put in a cabinet made by the Amish. Again, some one correct my stupidity.

They S U C K

My inlaws got one new and never used it so they gave it to us.

I can get about the same outta one of those little ceramic units.

I was reading the newspaper and saw an ad for them. They showed a bunch of amish guys working on an assembly line putting them together, then another picture of them installing it in the house.

My thought was, since when do amish work at factories and do home installations?

I bought just an insert last year from Lowes and made my own mantel for our basement its ok for down there but I first set it up in the living room and it wasn’t even noticeable.

Don't think the Amish would use laminated particle board either...

GUY AT WORK IS WRONG
Ive been in HVAC for 33 years and consider myself an expert 1500 watts =5119.5 BTUH period (its a hair dryer) its the most you can get from 115 volt circuit period .the cost of 1 kw or 1000 watts varys from place to place but for simplicity lets say a dime a 1000 watts thats about 2.90 cents for 100000btuh gas runs about .80 cents at 95 % efficiency its at least half the cost and heat pumps have a c.o.p. from 3-4 so they are 3-400% more efficient than electric heat.
Electric heat is about 100% efficient however it is the most expensive source of energy with oil and propane real close and it does very from place to place but not that much
STAY AWAY ITS A SCAM
