amp problem

ok guys I just installed my amps and subs today and I cant get the subs to go on

I check the amps and for whatever reason they do not power on

any ideas?

I checked the wires up to the amps and they actually have power from the positive wire where it plugs into the amp

could this be the negative side not finding good enough ground?

or could this maybe be the remote wire not being plugged in that controls the amps from the head unit?

Do you have power on the remote turn on wire? Where did you ground the amp?

I grounded the amps to the floor of the trunk

I am not sure how to measure the power to the remote wire
should I do it the same way and turn the remote on from the head unit and then test it by touching the remote wire to a light and then a wire from the light to the ground to see if it would light up?

What kind of deck? Some Pioneer HU have a fuse on the turn on wire.
