And so it begins.... (lsx content)

Couple of new updates. Had a busy weekend but got some done today.
The turbo feed is now taken care of. Looks like this is a popular slot. Right above the oil filter. The fitting was on the original truck oil pan. It wasnt drilled. I drilled and tapped it for the -4 fitting.
Also got the turbo drain taken care of. Drilled and tapped for the -10 fitting. I got this 90 in there but also got a straight fitting. Not sure which one I will use yet. Just stuck the fitting in there for now.
Replaced the 4 bolts in the rear at the top of the cover. I'm told the stock ones interfere with an ultrabell. I just put some in there that sit flush with block that butts up to the trans.
Finally, got the engine in....hopefully for the last time. I'm not going to lie....it looks badass in there.

Btw....the hood shuts fine:)

That's good, I'm both happy and kinda surprised that hood will shut with that intake! Coming along nicely.

KEVIN ...my car is at lonnies .. go check it out .. when your ready to go 109 again i'll sell it to ya .. paul the oil man .

The only way I will go back to a 109 is if its in a stockish cruiser. I saw your car there. Definitely a nice car. I'm the one who also rescued Lonnie a few weeks ago when he had it on his trailer and got a flat tire lol.

Worked on it some tonight. Spent a lot of time locating and fabbing up a bracket for the fuel pressure regulator. I will get a pic of that tomorrow as the paint is drying right now.

I did get the headers on. Had to ding the drivers side a bit to clear the steering shaft.

I'm happy too lol.
Today I replaced the stock steering shaft with the jeep shaft and made some adjustments to make it fit better by that header.
I got a very busy weekend coming up so I will be taking a break until Monday...going to the track to tune a gn tomorrow that has an accel gen7 in it then probably going back to the track Friday too with some friends that are in from out of town.

The hotside piping has arrived! All stainless of course. I think I might have bought enough for 4 sets lol

Where did you get the piping?

Thanks
Dennis
a place I found in the internet called Columbia mandrel bending or something like that.
That is all 16 gauge. I paid $450 shipped for everything in the pic. That includes the t6 flange and the pipe that they already bent to fit it and also the y merge. I will probably only use a 3rd of it though if that.
