Another crank no spark on a 84GN

I am working on a 84Gn for a friend. He took the timing cover off to have it fixed from the cam button wear. Re-installed everything and the car has not had spark sense this time. I did all the usual checking of the sensors,ecm,coil,fuel,timing....even bought Caspers #102084 Hotwire kit to fit a 87 coil/module and no luck still. Checked to see if cranks sensor was get power out of module and it isnt. Any ideas anyone????? This isnt rocket science......I just dont know where else to look at...all the fuses are good too. Thanks!!!!!

Ok, you checked to see if the crank sensor had power but did you chek to see if it was sending a signal back to the ECM?

make sure your battery wires are snug, tq them down more if have too.

I did ceck the signal out of the ecm and there was a signal for cranking. Battery is very tight! Thanks for the help..
