alright guys ive got one other question about frame painting. Me and a buddy of myne are looking into ordering paint for some projects that we have once we get off this deployment that we are on. We are looking at painting the frame and suspension on a 97 F350 that spent its life in Ohio.

we contacted eastwood, and they recommended two kits of these:

EW Satin Extreme Chassis Restoration Kit w/RE

Now that kit comes with the rust encapsulator, and then the top coat paint. Now the front of the frame is not bad at all, and the undercoating has held up great that was on it. The rear is another story, and im sure that once we start grinding and wire wheeling, alot of crud is going to come off in big chunks. Now the frame is still solid and saveable, but im thinking that we should treat the rear part of the frame with this:

Eastwood Rust Converter - Convert Rust in One Step

On eastwoods site it says for heavly rusted parts, use the converter, then the ecapsulator, and then the top coat. Unfortinatly we dont have pictures of the frame, but im guessing that the extra prevention couldnt hurt it. So could i get some input on what all we should do?

Im thinking, grind and wire wheel the frame, then use converter and brush it on the frame, then brush the ecapsulator the frame, and then spray the top coat on. Thanks for any help guys
