Another Lock up question (Help Please!!!)

I'm having issues with my converter locking and sometimes not locking at all. At times when it does lock up it kinda stutters before it does so. I have an otc scanner and can see the command to lock the converter when it does lock. I also have a manual switch and have checked and confirmed both voltage and ground to and from switch with the pan off. Seems I can't lock it manually either. Just for grins I replaced the solenoid since I had the pan off. No change. Are there any passages that can get clogged preventing lock up? I'm sure that the converter clutches are not worn cause when it does lock up I see rpm reductions of 300-500 rpm. Outta options can I get some help here please.

the lockup valve may have broken springs or is sticking.remove the solenoid and inspect the valve and springs.it also can be a damaged o ring seal on the input shaft.

I have also had one that the bushing in the end of the stator support wore down the input shaft by .030" and along with the cooked oring did the exact same thing. Be sure to check that when it's out.
