From the shop that bought you the Jack and the GPB (Gas Pedal Block) we are pleased to introduce yet another fine new product. Thru extensive testing on our lead car owned by Artie Paltz and our R&D car, mine, we have come up with a revolutionary new traction device that will help your car launch straight and hard.

This product is for the big time, fast racers (all of us) who are on a budget (all of us) , but want that added traction just like the pros without having to spend alot of money on traction devices from Jerry Haas or Competition Engineering.........what do those folks know anyway.

This revolutionary, never seen before.............well it was supposed to be seen in Cecil this past weekend however due to logistical shipping problems never really made it's way to Cecil..........well OK Art Paltz left them on my desk in the garage so we were not able to have them on our cars for the Cecil event.

Never the less................we proudly introduce:

The Maxi-Plant Wheelie Bar..................this wheelie bar will let you hold infinite amounts of traction as your car comes up on the bumper our MPWB will force your car back down onto the track to apply all that massive horsepower our cars put out. More importantly this device will help keep your car on the straight and narrow as you blast down the 1/4 mile on your way to a Parker Johnstone interview and a Powerade hat and beverage.

Price has yet to be determined as we are just about to enter the mass production stage and all costs of materials (depends upon Home Depot stock of metal rods and wheels) , labor, spray paint and nut and bolt.

We will keep everyone posted as the production run nears an end and availability becomes available and depending upon the reaction....dare I say we might be able to do a GP, more to come on that......Enjoy.

The fiberglass bumper should flex which in turn helps plant the tires.:D

I have Rich's prototype on my car, it simply works!

I just wish the R&D would have finished sooner. I could have saved some money :)

Really a nice looking piece, light weight as well. I think as Nick pointed out the fiberglass bumper would be a must have with this item.

When can we expect to see them available to the public and what do you anticipate the cost to be?

Next we're going to have the zip-lock bag tied to a string as a parachute on a budget.

Rich - Are you willing to do a Group Purchase? Let's say I get two or three people to buy...can we get say 50-75% off retail? Since it is light-weight, you'd overnight them to 43230 at that price wouldn't you?

I know someone that could rule this piece TSM legal! :D

P.S. Throw in a couple RCA and Anderson Performance stickers and I'll get four people to buy them!

I had a similar device made up at morocco 2 yrs ago by Walt Judy
I had a 1.41 short time and was on the bumper.Walt (Worried for my Safety)had made up a prototype from a piece of threaded rod he bent and a makeshift wheel. It Saved me the rest of the weekend.I just wish now I would have thought of marketing it.Damb isnt america great.

Very nice piece, Rich! I know you were wishing you had gotten it installed before you pulled that great wheelie next to Jack Cotton so you could have shown him firsthand how well they work. (See Tim Dirk's pictures for a great shot of your car with the wheels up beside da pumpkin.)

>>> Scott,
Always willing to do a group purchase..........isn't that the creedo of the TR world..........never pay full price for anything :D

Scott I would fully expect this piece of equipment be mandatory on all TSM cars........with the great things you guys are doing with the 109 block doesn't it make sense to have this little beauty on your car??? I think so.

Can you make a model that would fit a Geo Metro?

How hard is the installation? My dad is a TV repairman, he has an awesome set of tools so I'm sure we can do it.

Does this setup require expensive white shoe polish to take full advantage of it's tuning benefits?

BTW, you probably don't remember me but I bought a hood liner off you about 10 years ago and you promised it would reduce my ET's by a tenth. Eventually, the liner was able to reduce my times from an initial 12.2 to a 10.25. I'll line up behind Bill Anderson to proudly proclaim. "Rich's stuff just plain works!"

I need one for the GN and one for the Suburban. You forgot to tell everyone that it may also be used on overloaded trucks/SUVs in order to add payload capacity.;)
