This link is to a Deliberatly Deceptive auction. Its less common now, but I've seen this deception many times.

Most bidders read or scan the descritpion and will miss the fact its just a model. They'll bid, win, maybe even pay before they realize they bought something described in the small print, not what was in the picture.
