Another "what should it run"

Going to Indy to make some shakedown passes before installing alky ect.. Heres the mods:
Stock turbo, injectors, intercooler
THDP and 2 3/4" exhaust
Walbro 340 with AFPR
CAI
Upgraded sway bar, Bilstein shock all the way around
new wires and plugs
translator with lt1 maf
Eric's chip
Plan to run it about 15-18 psi. I don't expect to run great times but what do you think it will run with those mods?

13.7 to 14.4 depending upon tune and traction.

You left out the tires.

Street tires...the same tires i'm going 700 miles with. Lets put it his way, what would it run with a 1.8 60'.

Since your at the track, bump the octane to straight 104, run 21psi of boost and get the timing to 23 and go from there.
I believe my car on radials was running off a 1.90 sixty foot 12.7 at 110 with the stock turbo and ic on a hot day before meth years ago.


Your car could go low 13s if you turned the boost up with some better fuel...
I run my cars rich, they last longer that way.

I ran 8.32 (1/8) on mine with a mostly stock car (similar mods to yours) on 13-14 psi boost.... with 26x10.5x15 ET Streets... launching somewhere between 5 and 10 psi..... cut some low 1.80's 60' times....... That should be close to 13 flat or very high 12's......

Alright. The car performed great. Put over 1800 miles on it in 5 days. On 16 PSI and 35 PSI in the Falken street tires it ran 13.5 at 100 with a 2.1 60'. I thought it was pretty good for the tires and mods.

I'll agree that it has a 12 in it. Your 60' needs to go down .3 or a little better..... that would give you the .5 sec you need in the quarter. Pretty impressive IMHO for an 18 year old car with 18 year old technology.....I love mine....

Yea it was a long trip. Well worth it though. Alky is next and that should put it in the mid-high 12's with under $2k in mods. I love these motors.

I was just wondering if you were running some good gas or was this on 91 octane??
Thats pretty good MPH for low boost and timing..
Get the rear suspension lined out and 1.8 sixty foots should happen on radials, that and a good launch technique.

Post back on this thread after you bolt on the meth kit, id like to see how much it drops the ET and gain in MPH.

Yea 16 PSI. Had to drive home 10 hours. Was getting a little lean on the topend and figured to be safe I would quit running.
