Read that Iyonsd just bought a V-Rod (congrats). I am considering the same model. One reason...NOTHING else looks like the V-Rod!
Being a completely new design usually something has developed and needed to be corrected.

Question: Are there or, have there been any V-Rod mechanical problems, flaws, recalls, teething problems? And if so how were they fixed if corrected?
'Heard about a vaporlock problem....bike would not start when the motor is hot during warmer/hot weather (like after a gas stop...had to let the motor cool down some). Any info on this or other problems?
BTW that msgboard link on Iyonsd's thread is down for maint. (guess it had a mechanical as well

Vector - you noted spoked wheels in the other thread. Is that because the V-Rod's solid wheels would be trouble in hard gusts/cross winds? Or would that not be a factor since they are low in relation to the rest of the bike?
I'll give you a buzz some time when I want to go to Bike week. (Looks like lots of fuel stops with the V-Rods small fuel tank!)
***Also will that computer perf. upgrade and exaust upgrade void the warranty? Even if they were 'Screeming Eagle' parts (the Harley approved?? aftermarket upgrade brand)? Thanks.
