Silva tried to box toe to toe with chuck liddell, dont know why, and guess what it didn't work out. no ko but silva was out boxed.
george owned matt, filpped him like a pancake then almost broke his arm off. "verbal tap out" first time I heard ref say that in a long time. Matts hands were stuck so he litteraly couldn't tap, so he was screaming like a female tap, tap, tap, pretty funny.

Chuck vs Wandy was a good fight.
They both connected with some good shots.
Chuck obviously won the fight, but IMO Wandy won the second round.
Chuck was good at moving in and out to avoid some big shots.
Wandy did not use is Thai Clinch for some reason...
Personal observation is Chuck looked huge compared to Wandy.
I would not mind seeing a rematch in a year or so.
Matt vs George was not a competitive fight at all.
George literally destroyed Matt the whole fight.
Sure George TKOed him the last time but this was
utter domination. I wonder if Matt will retire...
If George can keep his head straight, he will do very well.
Machida vs Soku was a little closer than Matt vs George but not much.
Machida's movement is really unorthodox and really confused the young
African. What really surprised me the most is that Machida owned the judo
fighter on the ground. It seems Soko could not do much fighting on his back.
The Manic Hispanic's fight is not worth typing for.
The lightweight fight was ok but the lack of class show deserves a fine in my opinion. This is a real sport not WWF or WWE, I expect some kind of sportsmanship.

It was a good card, I was happy to pay for it.

I thought Silva won the 2nd round too. I still can't believe Chuck lost to Jardine. I think Chuck is hittn the Club more than the bag.

Have always been a Iceman backer figured he'd out punch Silva. Someone mentioned how come Silva didn't clinch and use his Muay Thai ? Silva should have closed up the distance and used his Muay Thai in the clinches, elbows and knees he chose not to, But instead he fought Liddells fight by standing there with no head movement he should have closed up the gap. Silva had more side to side head movement during the introduction then the whole fight.
The 2nd round you could have given the 1st 3.5 minutes to Silva for sure(and if it had been 3 minute rounds he would have won that round), the 2 Liddel slips made it look worse then it actually was. Now the last 1.5 minutes the Iceman landed more solid punches then Silva did in the 1st. 3.5 minutes . Liddell had him against the cage/backing up/lookin desperate/gaspin for air and then cut him and took him down of coarse they were both tired and there was only 14 seconds left when Chuck took him down, they both kind of layed there. The round was Silva's until Liddell pulled it out and came to the top at the end of the 2nd round.
My opinion and it ain't worth beans if they meet again Silva needs not to play into Liddells fighting style. He needs to tighten it up and get inside and neutralize Chucks looping haymakers. Clinch and Use his knees and elbows. If you stand there with no head movement those looping punches will eventually find there mark! If he closes it up he will win.
The up and coming guy I like is that kid from Brazil Tiago Silva not only does he have power in either mano he can take it to ground and submit you or knock you out from the mount. He mounted Houston Alexander like uh. I won't go there and just had his way with Houston dribbled his head a couple times off the canvas and out went the lights. Houston was defnseless on his back. That kid is Bad.

Matt Hughes looked awful. He got schooled in every way. Chuck looked wild and out of control.
