Any news from Norwalk and/or Bushar's dyno tuning gathering?

There is nothing to update. No classes were run. It was a fun time as usual at the dyno.

I stand corrected. I left before they called them up apparently. I saw 1st round of Q16, and the 8.9 Renegade class. When I was leaving they were calling up the bracket classes. I figured the classes were done. I would have stayed to watch Fiscus.

I couldn't get my car to hook. It blew the tires off after boost hit, 1.73 60'. Got a nice picture though.

Didn't make it to the dyno session, or the track on Sunday, but the car show at Arby's was a real good time. As a bonus got to see the GNS test car, Xray and GNX 250, plus a lot of cool Buicks! A couple pics, enjoy!

I saw two TSM cars, a few TSO cars. It looked like more Buicks were parked/not racing on Sunday than the ones that did race

I was disappointed in the whole weekend. Their was hardly any venders on hand. This event looks like it is going to die if something don't happen soon. Thats just my personal feelings. But i hope i'm wrong.

We've now witnessed what happens when you institute an 8 car minimum for heads up classes then 4 days leading up to the event, lift that rule.

Anyone who's been there knows its a great time and fantastic facility. I hope we don't loose this event when it comes around next year.

TSO had Fiscus and Tennyson (sp)
TSM had a super sano rosewood limited and a clean GN that had Michigan plates. Sorry didn't get the names.

It's too bad that Norwalk isn't more central to the TB population, it would be a great place for the GS Nationals. I like BG, but Norwalk is super nice

It was a great weekend. Car counts are down BUT they are down at ALL racing venues. We have an IHRA National event up here and it had almost 600 cars a few years ago and just over 200 last year. Reality check guys the economy is kicking the $hit out of our hobby. I met some great people and had a nice weekend. On the vendor side Paul from Hrpartsnstuff was there and Lisa from Turbo Stiches was there and took some of my money! Damn she has nice stuff. I think it is going to become a quality not quantity events for our cars in the future. Here are a few pics

I originally went just for t&t, but figured since they were running heads up classes, I'd jump over to TSM. Turn out was terrible. There was only 2 of us. He had problems after our qualifying runs and I had a slight ignition issue, so neither one of us ran after. Still had a great time even though the turnout sucked.

Went to spectate on Sunday after not being at any Buick events for the last five or so years - wow, have all Buick events declined as much as this one has? It was sad to see! I was shocked at the lack of Buicks there. They had the renegade racing association running that day as well and there were certainly more of them than Buicks - if not for the renegades, there would not have been much to see.
