The fiancee has a 99 Dodge Intrepid that has had some electrical gremlins. Sensors here and there, the blower motor resistor keeps blowing ($1000 to fix, have to pull dash to get it out according to the dealer)

Now for the hopefully cheaper/simpler problem.

The PS rear window will not go down. When you hit the switch you can tell there is a current draw (Fan slows down, lights dim a little) but the window does nothing.

Window motor? Regulator? Any Ideas?

Any ideas on getting to the blower motor to fix w/o spending $1000 or taking the whole dash out?

I know nothing about the blower motor, but I used to detail at a dodge dealership and those 1998-present Intrepids always had stuck rear windows. What happens is they stick to the upper window seal due to lack of use (i've seen the front ones do it too). get a thin pointed object of your choice and run it along the upper edge of the window and maybe spray it with a lubricant of some sort it should work free pretty easily. At least that problem will be cheap!

I know they also have a recall on the fuel injectors or rail that leaks fuel- look into it!

Window is now fixed. INEEDAGN was right, it was just stuck to the seal.

Anyone have any idea on the blower motor?

another thing is the DS power lock now just grinds. Easy to replace?

If I remember correctly you have to replace the latch assembly because the teeth on the lock strip out, but you should check with your Dodge dealer. Trust me they will know, it is also common but sometimes only intermittent. I've owned two early style Intrepids and they both did it. Nice cars overall but they have their little problems like every other car.

Hope this helps.
