I would like to ask if any one has experienced and problems with fitting up a 3.625" stroke crank in a off center,
also suppliers or people with off center rodds for sale.

cheers simon

No issues other than clearancing the block. I'd call up Oliver, they may have some rods for sale, or Jack Cotton can get you something. You will need to check your cam/rod clearance and work the rods accordingly.

thanks for your help guys,
what is the issue with working the cam and rod clearance?

i am assuming the rod clearance in the block?
and piston position to valve timing???

thanks Simon

Well, your right it is very important to clearance the block for rod clearance and it is certainly important to clearance the piston to valve clearance. However, long stroke Stage II's also have cam lobe to rod clearancing issues in that the topr of the big end of the rod may need to be clearanced to clear large cams. Drew
