Anybody else have driveability problems with T+/Extender Launch Assist activated?

Bob explained to me that Launch Assist is activated at >50% throttle and <5 mph. With that in mind, my car will fall on it's face if I give the car more than 50% throttle off idle while programmed for this. I tried the various rich/lean adjustments and the results are the same... car just goes "Ugh" when gassed!

Goes much smoother when LA is turned off, but am just curious why this may be? BTW, my idle BLMs are about 140 as I do still have some header leaks that won't get fixed till this winter... think this may be a contributing factor?

Launch assist is for launching........Brake torque at the track.
It reduces torque, and increases EGT so the turbine gets more energy, then when you punch it, the car launches harder.

It sucks in everyday driving, and was not meant for that.
