Hey, I have been looking everywhere for a parts list of what comes in the transgo kit and cannot find anything on the web. Anybody know what all comes in the kit?
 
.500" TV Boost Valve.
.300" Low/Reverse Boost Valve.
"White" Pressure Regulator Spring.
((2 "Gold" Washers, each side of 3-2 piston)).
2nd Accumulator Spring.
Hole Plug for VB Seperator Plate.
4 Drill bits for enlarging hole in Sep. Plate & instructions.
((Spacer for between 1-2 Shift Valve & Low Valve)).
"Red" Accumulator Valve Spring.
"White" Line Bias Spring.
"Red" TV Spring.

Some builders don't use(( "Gold" Washers)) or ((Spacer)) etc...

What is the benefit of using the spacers?

I'm not sure what it does.:confused: Maybe 1 of the Trans Guru's will help. :)
Spacer between the 1-2 Shift Valve & Low Valve looks like it puts more tension on 1-2 Shift Valve Spring. Firmer 1-2 shift? More time between shift?

The 3-2 Piston O-ring in Servo is discarded also, where the Gold washers are used?
 
I never could figure the space for the 1-2 valve. The gold washes are to adjust the band clearance I think.
Anyway I have the CK kit now, though I thought the TransGo was OK.
 
From what I had measured when I did my first one is that it moves the valve inward another .010". Maybe to position the lands more centered. I wound up making my own spacers if people wanted that kind of kit installed and I saved them some money. As for the servo spacers, I found a lot of pins and used the spacers as fine tuning the band clearance if the pins were that far off.
