I need to start building an ark. My house is fine but all around us is water. looks like an ocean with the house and new shop an island. Thanks for the understanding that I have my hands full. At the old shop, we are in now is in hurting condition too and we have spent yesterday and today trying to get back up dry and running. The roof vents all blew off and we have roof issues leaking. The roll up doors both blew off and they are installing new ones. This has been a hell of a 5 days for me. Sleep has been minimal and man, have we got water. No hurricane but out here 73 mph winds are mean. It toppled a 60 ft eucylipdus tree in my back yard missing the house but nailing the fencline and pool. Not to mention many other trees and fences. Blew one of my carports 60 ft 4 ft off the ground!! I watched it as it missed my truck. I still cannot believe what I witnessed. Whole nother issue at the house. Thanks to all of the TB.com team for stepping up to the plate and helping me out. I sure do appreciate it and will continue to.
I will be spotty over the next couple days and if you have an order with us, know we are doing everything we can do to just keep going. In a couple of days we should be back up to full capacity at the shop. The house, well......that will be a different story. Lots of damage there. insurance companies are backed up so we wait. At least the house didn't flood or get hit by a falling tree as alot have. So in turn, with all the nasty stuff that happened, we HAVE to consider ourselves lucky that the family are all ok and the house is still intact. Everythnig around it is a mess, but the house is still standing. The barn and animals did ok too. My child Kendra, Had gone to Reno for the New Year celebration with freinds and was trapped up in Reno as they were on hwy 80 coming down the hill when the huge landslide occurred. They were 8 miles above the slide when it hit. Thank you Lord!!! She was stuck in a hotel room in Reno for three days while they cleared the road. So it has been an eventful beginning to the new year.
Again, thank you all.
Here is the thread Joe put up.
