For a stock TTA chip? I am ASSuming 25+ Just wanted to verify.

TIA

yep, with todays pump gas, you're luck if you can even run 14# with the stock TTA chip. I changed mine to 21 degrees before it quit having KR at 16#.

At first I thought something was wrong that it could run barely more than stock boost.

I am going to put 100 octane in it and run it once before modding it. Maybe a splash of 110 too. lol

From GM the GN's and TR's ran 22 deg at wot, the tta ran 26 deg.

Those TTA chips were a little weird:rolleyes:

26 deg at 4400 & 4800 wot, but mid-range if I remember was 16 to 18 degrees.:confused:

Not sure why, but I know years ago when I tried one in my T it knocked like heck. Gas was not as bad as it it today.

Joe's right, looking at the timing table, all of these values are at max Load, LV8=255
@2800rpm and below - 16.2 degrees
@3200rpm - 20 degrees
@3600rpm - 22.1 degrees
@4000rpm - 23.9 degrees
@4400rpm and above - 26 degrees.

FYI, my TTA runs much better with my GN chip with a few mods to the tables.

My plan was to go to the track once with the car all stock. I will run 100 octane when I go. I already have 50s, 340, and a GT32 waiting to go on.
