the cheapest way to ship a rear-end w/brake drums? Got a quote of $388.00+:eek:
 
Make sure you figured in at a class 85 for freight. For $388 where were you shipping it to & who were you using?
R&L, Bax Global , triple A cooper & even Fed ex freight are good to use. R & L will come back a lot if you get a lower price elsewhere & beat it.
 
My vote goes to R&L Carriers. You can save alot of the shipping costs by shipping terminal to terminal, whereas you drop it off at the terminal closest to you and they pick it up from the terminal closest to them. R&L adds $85.00 on each end for residential liftgate service. Hope this helps. I had my new motor with heads and intake shipped back to me on a boxed in pallet from RPE in CT terminal to terminal for $182.61.
