Anybody use steel wool to clean their windshield?

0000 steel wool works good. I prefer it wet, it can scratch when dry. You'll just see spider web You can also wipe your windshield carefully with muratic acid to get hard water spots off. Don't let it drip on the paint, use really good gloves and safety goggles.

Ive used it as well. I prefer a good glass polish and high speed rotary tho.

Windex and steel wool work wonders on tailpipes as well.
