If you have any pics of the Champion Alt power steering bracket please post as my wife threw them away. Looks pretty self explanatory but I would love to see a pic. Will the stock belt work?

Thanks,
Steve

Stock belt is way too short remember your elimating the AC.
060512 Gates/ Napa belt it's 51 1/4"
I can snap a picture tomorrow my motor is on a stand.

I would appreciate that. Thanks on that belt size too!! We will be doing the swap tomorrow or Sat.

Your missing a sleeve. Make sure to locktite all of the bolts. Mine came loose at the track and failed on drive home. Expensive tow that day

x2 on the belt size. That's the same belt I used with the stock alternator. Just keep in mind that some aftermarket alternators have different size pulleys and would require a different length belt.

Just picked up an 6K507 which came in at 51 1/8. I hope the 1/4" won't matter.

There is no sleeve missing? The thread showing is where the Alt goes and it bolts to the back of the bracket with the smaller bolt. I think if I put Loctite on I wouldn't be able to get these out.

Thanks RmvBfrflght... Just to note the belt i mentioned did not work. Had to go to Autozone and use part number 510K6. Effective length 50.98 & Outside circumference 51.54. Works flawlessly. Used the ps pump to get it right were it needs to be.

That sure is a good looking bracket. I sold mine once I determined I'd rather keep A/C.
