Anyone been checking out the new Translator Pro?

This thing looks promising. With the lack of bigger turbo options for stock hotair setup (and money) Ive been sticking with what Ive been doing which is small adjustments here and there and tuning, but there is always something missing from getting that "perfect tune". This Trans-Pro sounds like it might be just what the doctor ordered. Better engine management would really go a long way. Ive been watching some of the turbo import cars with 4cylinders to boot and what they are able to do (not talking about the straight all out race cars). I think most of it has to do with how they capatilize on squeezing the best A/F ratio and performance from there setups [with a more advanced engine management system]. If I could get everything fine tuned across the board (throughout an entire run) Im sure I could drastically improve my times without changing anything.

I agree, this system looks great and it would be great to have the added tunability to maximize a combo. Plus you wouldn't have to buy another maf sensor. 400 bucks is steep from an initial viewpoint, but I guess that's the price you pay for such added tunability, and it's still a good deal cheaper than a FAST system. I'd be willing to bet that with the average combo more horsepower is left on the table due to tuning issues than often realized. I'd like to look into one of these eventually...

I actually plan on selling my MAF sensor and Translator and some other stuff and just run it mafless for a while. But I am getting one.

so with this and his chip you would be able to change timing from in side the car ? i was going to buy a maf and translater now i think im just gonna buy this after my ecm swap .
