Anyone do 1:24 scale plastic models?

I just finished this grand national. I gave it my little touch as usual.

I want to see what everyone is doing to theirs.

Those are sweet. My wife brought home one of the boxed kits 10/15 years ago and I’ve still not put it together. I’ve never done one and I’m afraid I’ll screw it up.
Again those are really cool.

I use the 1/24 scale bodies on slot cars I would like to have a gn body for my drag car.It runs a 60 ft track in 1.39 sec at 40 mph.

the model i have is a Revell Plastic model.

I believe you can still get them at dept stores. I think I got mine at Meijers store.

man i seen those when they first came out at a walmart.

I about puked....seen a Monte Carlo just like it. However I guess you could just use the body/interior/chassis and not put those silly wheels on.

You can buy tires/wheels for the 1:24 scale models aftermarket.

Yeah the kit says it comes with stock wheels AND the ghetto blasters so I guess you could make it look stock.

Anyways I wish I had the time/patience for a hobby like that, maybe this winter when I need something to keep me busy.
