Stowe VT. This is a big Antique/classic car show. 600-900 cars with a large flee market. Starts Friday, Aug 7 and ends Sunday, Aug 9. It says classics but judging is for cars up to 84 and i've never seen a classic in the show. I might try to enter my GN this year and see. It's a good time, I'll be there Thursday to Sunday to start my vacation.

Tell em it is an 84, they probably wouldn't know the difference.:D Not that I never did that or anything.

The show says classics in the name and our cars are classic. I don't know if they would let me show the car but not be involved in the judging. It wouldn't matter if it was judged because they look for factory cars and mine has a couple mods. It was at one time just antiques and I'm not sure when that changed.

lots of canadians come down to that show.i have been there 4-5 times! ben& jerrys is there also.you can also check out the alpine slides if they still run them at the ski area.plenty of stuff to do over there to do! as far as a large flea market that is relative? not many old cars in vt so how many old car parts can there be? it is one of the bigger shows in vt and fun but only a 1 day thing IMO

Alpine slides were still there last year. Parts for turbo buicks are seldom to come by there, mostly older stuff but I've found a set of emblems (GN), books and diecast there. Not to mention a stage engine I passed on for dirt because I didn't now what I was looking at :o . I have a couple Nova to find parts for now also. Vendors come from all over for the flee market. I've been going for about 12 years. Always a good time.

I guess that would would as well as long as they arent checking registrations. I have seen a few shows do that so I would check before you waste a long ride. Of course you could do what my buddy did and photo copy his reg and then change the yours from 1987 to 1984:D

I'll be going regardless, just not sure if I want to drive the GN on a 300 mile trip with two little boys and the wife.

Correct! Just say FOR DISPLAY ONLY. That is how I attend shows.
or you could say 81 to 84 would not matter people can't remember what year cars are.

I had a guy once say to me NICE Pontiac Grandville. He said 64 or 65.. I said your 10 years off it is 1975. his jaw dropped.

Thats what I'm hoping. Either way it's getting an oil change in the morning and going for a ride. Last trip up it got 24 mpg, I wonder what the new engine will get?

I got a new die cast car, no parts. I found some stuff to decorate my new camp though. I couldn't put may car in the show so I put it in the for sale section, the car had a crowd around it from when I dropped it off until I drove it out.
