They are renaming the stadium in Denver to Mile Cry Stadium

Tebozo needs the thin air to help his weak throws!

I thought for sure Pittsburgh was going to draft him so they could rename the Terrible Towel to the Tebow crying towel.

Tebow

In three years the dumb a$$ that drafted TEBOW will be looking for another job the NFL wasn't made for everybody he is not a good QB he had a lot of good players around him BAD MOVE BRONCOS I would love to see what JOHN ELWAY thinks of that.

I cant believe Denver took him in the first round!!! He really fooled alot of people. What do people in Denver think?

Pete

I never thought much of him as a college QB and I think the Bronco's coach is betting his future on that draft pick. Now the Bronco's have 3 QB's and I recall an old saying that if you have more than one QB you really don't have any.

Also I don't know why people are in love with Bradford - didn't he run a "spread" offense? I don't recall seeing him under center ever at OU.

Might have been a dumb pick but the man has Character and Class... and is GETTING PAID!

please dont ever use the words Pittsburgh and Tebow in the same sentance ever again.....if you do the rain forests will vanish and mel gibson will haunt your house.

I apologize. I may not be a Tebow fan but he is a better person or so it seems than mad cow disease burger... lol

He would've gotten paid no matter if he ever took a snap in the NFL or not. The image is what he capitalizes on. It appears that he does have character when it comes to God but class some might deny. When he wins he rubs it in then jumps around like a jackass, but when he loses kleenex is ready to offer him a spokes person job!

I agree, she's a total system qb like Colt Brennan and many others.

Bradford takes snaps under center with that weird shift and he stooped low to the ground before the snap. Go back and watch the film. Plus he's intelligent, can read a defense, and has a strong/quick release.

He didn't fool anyone. It was his handlers. They capitalized on his image and hype.

Face it, after Mcdaniels got rid of Cutler and Marshall the season ticket holders were ready to post them on craigs list.. Elway won his superbowls. I'm sure he doesn't care. This is now business. Tebow will put a$$es in seats because of all the people that love to idol folk hero's. I wonder what Champ Bailey and Knowshon Moreno think. They were both UGA players the year UGA beat them and they were sick of seeing shemo jump around like an idiot after he completed a pass. Richt had the players show them up with that inzone celebration.

Danny Weurful excelled in pretty much the same offense. He did what in the NFL? He won a heisman too. Had similar media attention. It is typical with UF. They don't win unless they have a star qb. There are many of teams that go undefeated and do much more without having a hype machine coach and qb.

Good stuff!!

Thanks!

The new stadium was just re-named ;)

OK so tell us, I have been a die hard Nebraska Cornhusker fan for years:biggrin:

Good argument, my disagreement is; this article is looking at College performance stats, no one will argue that he is one of the greatest College QB's and team leaders of all-time. The NFL scouts and analysts use a system that forecasts talent about as good as the channel 5 weatherman can tell you if it will be raining 4 days from now. In my opinion the hardest position to forecast is the QB by far, hence why there are so many unemployed 1st rounder's at that position. Here is my issues with Mr. Tebow, he struggles to read college defenses that are slower and most obviously more basic than any pro style D. Did he make bad decisions with a misread, not exactly... His first instinct was not to just throw the ball up and pray, but to pull it down and run. He was rather successful against college level play doing this, against a much faster and advanced pro level competition we will see. My guess is there is a reason that draft picks number 1-32 were all rated in the 90+ point range as pro prospects, but one pick was not... the 25th draft pick was rated 78, unfortunately intangible is not weighed to heavily into prospect rating.

On that subject here goes. Without sounding like JUST a hater.

Who I have followed since I was a little kid? UM... Jim Kelly was the qb. That was before Kosar. I know you're very familiar with the history being a husker. I'm 34 not sure how old you are but like cars I have my favorites and not so favorites.

I don't have anything against any team for the most part. What I hate is the johnny come lately media hype bs. They build players/teams up more for popularity than actions. For instance. The saints were nothing just like the bucs. Just like a few years back when the bucs won the saints are now full of bandwagon jumpers.

Living in tampon florida all you ever hear about is UF. They shove it down your throat here. Been that way for awhile. 2 hour specials before and after games. Covering every little injury even when they throw up. Even when they lose by like 80 points(see the husker game ) there are 6 weeks after that they are still praised and hyped for being so great. Any other team here does good you hear about a 15 second clip and that's it. Being from Florida I can say this is the biggest BW state ever. Just a few years ago USF was ranked higher at one point in the season than the big 3. All of the major tv station sports shows were putting all 3 down including the mighty preppy team UF. They were garbage being laughed at too. Then USF fell back and UF came back and waalaaa. Just gets old.

I prefer teams not larger than life individuals. Just my take. Their M.O. is to have a glory hog qb & coach. Seems to be impossible for UF to anything but rubbing it in when they win and crying when they lose. Hence why I'm not a fan. Plus they beat us back in the early 80's and 2 years ago against a full freshman squad and had to do it in the 4th quarter. Not impressed. I respect the SEC though. Especially Bama. They truly play as a team and are not about hype and awards. Look at Saban. He's the exact opposite of Meyer. Never was a spurrier fan and not a meyer fan. Just don't care for their way of doing things. Plus they play on the do gooder thing way to much. They have no room to talk about felon players from the south when they have had 40 arrests to. Seems they love to play on that tebow/jesus stuff way to much.

I am not a fan of FSU but I respect them. When they play UM it is a war and they hit harder than any NFL game you will see played on Sundays. After those games those players have respect for each other no matter who comes out on top.

Back to the NFL draft. His change of throwing motion is not going to miraculously correct his lack of arm strength. The corners on every single NFL team are able to close on wounded ducks on out patterns. Unlike in college when he was facing northeastern state buffalo's and the southwestern chinchillas who have maybe one 3 or 4 star recruit at best.

Hey, your a College Football Fan, and not just a hater. Thats all I wanted to hear:cool: I eat sleep and drink college football.... and respect a LOT of programs.

I as well hate band wagon jumpers, believe me there were a LOT of them in Kansas when Bill Snyder did what he did at Kansas State a decade ago..... I know what ya mean...

I am 41 years old and have lived and died with the Huskers for years, I even hated Bill Callahan to the point I could not even stand to look at him for what he tried to do to our beloved program... But I still attended every game we could as a family and supported our "TEAM"!!

Big Red Nation is headed in the right direction, and I am glad to hear you are a CFB enthisiast as well!

You are correct. Bo Pelini has got them in the right direction.

I see another classic rematch coming. How many have we had now? I know it's been quite a few. Yes, I'm American is there any other way?

I think Randy Shannon has them headed in the right direction, I would LOVE to see a Canes/Husker battle again with both programs on top again:cool:
