When I was a kid, I loved toy trains!!

H.O. scale.....


When I get old.......I'll probably do them again....


Some old timers had sets that were like........Unbelieveable!! Pretty cool!

I've done everything buy trains. They kick ass the way people set them up no matter what scale. I just never have gotten around to building one...just no room for them.

I have done both HO & N.. I like HO for detail. I just bought a low end HO set at a train show for my son for xmas Should be good on a 4 x 8 board.

I won't let him run my custom painted ATLAS B & M engine

Yup, Lionel. Mostly the old prewar stuff up to probably the 60's. Some of the newer plastic stuff too. I should probably sell it because it hasn't seen daylight in years. Might dig it out and take some pics later...

Count me in.
HO and N scales here. HO will be for my future when I have a large enough space to build a super layout. As for now, I'm currently working on the Scenic Ridge N-scale layout.

Just when you thought scenery building and layout building was a completely lost black art, Woodland Scenics comes out with their easy to create complete layout and scenery kit in one box. This layout will fit perfectly on a 3x6 plywood board. You can either supply your own brand of track, or they have a Track Pack made by Atlas that comes with all of the track you need. I prefer N-scale for my lack of interior space and HO for the super detailing capabilities. In the past N-scale lacked the realistic detailing capabilities of their larger HO scaled cousins. Today however there are companies that are getting into the super detailing of N-scale engines and cars. Eventho most of the companies products are manufactured in China or Japan, the quality and smooth running gear are making it harder and harder for American based companies to keep up. Ain't technology great?
I'll snap some pics later on and post them up.

That is cool I saw one of these at train show this past weekend.
