So here is the link. It cost $50 to rent, and about $15 to ship back. Thats $65 bucks. I am willing to split this cost equally to ANYONE who wants to roll their fenders. We can bring it to irwindale and or deliver it around so cal to anyone who needs to use it. Well then, obviously the more people who hope on board, then the cheaper each equal share will cost.

For example: Me only = $65
+1 person would be $32.5 each person
+2 people would be $21.6 each person
+3 people would be $16.25
+4 people would be $13 each person.

So you get the idea, the more the cheaper. And I'll have to ship this part back, but before I do anyone is welcome to use it. I will probably be @ Irwindale with it, (when I do rent it) and I will make an apperience @ donuts on saturday. This way I cover some ground and give people some options to meet up at to use it. If you are interested POST UP. Im getting this tool regaurdless so it really doesn't matter, but I would like to see others use it and for my price to drop for its use. With 5 people in its only freaking $13 a person!!!!!! Even with just 3 people its like $20 bucks a person! Hard to pass up something like that, unless ANYONE here already has a fender roller, then I ask can I just barrow it ;)?? Anyways post up if your interested Im off to go study... :(

Im interested but Im in SD and Im not going to either of the meetings :( .... does this come with instructions?

so here is 86LTDT reply to my pm;

Technically the answer is yes...but I wouldn't say they are a step by step method. I think it's relatively straightforward though.

Jack up the rear
Remove tire
Bolt the tool to the hub studs
Insure car in nuetral
Move the tool arm length and roller angle so that a little bit of bend will take place as your roll the roller (via axle rotation) from one side to the other
Lengthen arm a little and repeat
Repeat lengthening until bending complete

2 things to watch out for...
1) Make sure the red roller does not make contact with the inner fender I.e. make the top edge of the roller do the bending and have all the excess roller exposed on the bottom. I think you'll see what I mean.
2) heat the paint during bending with hair dryer...hard to say how much but I'd test an out of view spot to see just how much heat can be applied without blistering paint. Stiff paint will crack.

Another tip is to make many bending passes each bending a little more...instead of 2-3 passes each requiring lots of effort... Gentle bends will lessen the chance of paint cracking, lessen the effort required to roll the tool, and lessen the chance that you end up crimping metal because the bend is too severe.

So are you still getting this or do you already have it? Im still interested in doing this! Thanks!

I was hoping for a much bigger response other then 1 person. So I will not be doing this until further notice. I just posted because many people locally talked about doing this, I just wanted to see who if any was actually interested. I will still do this if I can get a few more people on board, but if not I will just wait until later, after I pull my motor.

I will post up when I do rent it so at that time if anyone is interested they can just respond and we can work it out then. :)
