I need a new FPR and would like to buy one with a -6 fitting already welded to the bottom. I do not want to use an adapter fitting due to limited space. Cotton? Licht? Strezo?

are you looking for something like this??

Yes to both of you.

Phil - do you have a fitting welded on or are you using an adapter? My fuel line has a -6 90 on it so I just want a straight -6an on the bottom of the regulator.

Scott - do you recall if the side fitting on your Accufab regulator that goes into the fuel rail is a screw in/press in fitting (like the picture below), or is part of the regulator's mold and just one piece? I have the regulator below and when my TIG guy welded -6 fitting on the bottom, the heat must have loosened up that side fitting because now fuel is pis$ing out of it. So I had him tig up that fitting but because there is such limited room there is too much weld and the regulator is garbage now.

Phil,
Any chance you could make me a set of those? I will pay your whatever it's worth to you. Chris

I think the ACCUFAB is the same as the one pictured. I took mine apart and removed the diaphragm, etc. before welding. No probs.

edit: On the side fitting, make sure you use a back up ring with the o-ring. Not sure if that's your problem but worth a shot.

hope this helps

Just like yours with whatever you did to make it fit the fpr. I have the ss replacement hard lines and I hate the damn things. I would really like to have those. Whatever price you think is right.

let me see if i can find the part numbers i used.. i found that the saginaw power steering fittings had the correct thread i needed

Jegs has just what you need. UNLESS you are running a BIG pump(s). Then the stand pipe is too small to bleed off pressure, so you will need an external regulator and a special fitting to replace the regulator. I have a special fitting to replace the regulator with a -6AN outlet. It is only needed for BIG pump(s), though. Earl's 991954 - Earl's AN to Metric Adapters - JEGS

thats the fitting i used, i remember reading about them fitting the saginaw power steering boxes

I have a way to route the -6 without chopping of the reg, PM me if you want the part details ( in a hurry ).

I got my chopped Accufab from Cottons ( took a while there though Jack  ) because the Champion fuel rail has the reg slightly lower than the stock rail does and it killed my initial idea from above.
