Mike,
Am I missing something here? Why is you hose routed towards the back of the engine? Also, do you happen to have info on connector sizes for ss hoses?

I got an Earl's 90* cast elbow in there but you have to have the flat of the hex lined up right. Otherwise it will hit the intake. For sure it is really tight, maybe could slip 2 sheets of paper between it and the intake runner.

I think the end with the o-ring is the same as a Saginaw power steering hose. I vaguely remember the counter guy telling me this.

How big is the ID of these adapter fittings that you guys are using? Remember your goal is to increase the ability to bypass fuel at idle.

The -6 return hose is running back that way because I have the return going towards the firewall, then up and around the brake booster ( trying to stay away from the headers ) and then down the firewall on the drivers side frame rail all the way back to the tank.

The hose ends were all like these

I think I went with all nickel so they looked nice.

The Auto Meter fitting was larger then the regs orifice on the reg side ( -6 on the hose side of course ) but the regs orifice is tiny. The chopped off reg might give you a better return orifice size but I forgot to look and compare.

If someone were going double pumper, I would ditch the stock reg all together and go external reg due to the larger return orifice.

The internal I.D. of the return tube of the regulator is .174" A -4 AN is alot bigger than that. The regulator is the restriction in the return system. If you are using a big pump (Weldon) or double pumps, then the Accufab or modded stock regulator will not be able to bleed off enough fuel volume. If you are having that problem, then you will need to invest in an external aftermarket regulator, and new fuel rails or an adaptor that plugs into the fuel rail with a -6AN fitting. I made a fitting for this purpose. You can make one yourself or PM me and I can fab one up for you.

anyone ever found a 14mm by 1.5 male going to a -6an female fitting...thinking i could screw that into bottom of fpr and then add a 90 degree male to male -6 an then then that into a hose end???...

...im running a champion fuel rail...stock intake manifold and the billet fpr...has been a nightmare to make braided lines for this set up...just from the rail to the chassis anymore ideas since i dont really want to weld a fitting onto the bottom of the fpr and cut another fitting etc....thanks noah.

I purchased the adapter fiitting but was not able to get the 90 hose end onto the fitting. I ended up buying an Accufab regulator and having a local fabricator tig on a -6 male fitting. Lots of room now and no leaks.
