Thought I'd check in and see if anyone is using Baer's Serious Street brake system (info HERE ).

I'm considering a brake upgrade, but don't want to get rid of my nice, light, 15" Weld Draglites. Spoke with Rick Elam at Baer (also a TR owner and member here) and he was kind enough to spend some time this afternoon talking about the system with me and describing their other offerings, which require 16 and 17" wheels.

So, can anyone comment on how well this system works as an upgrade on our cars?

thanks,
Scott

Download the template for the 12", yes twelve inch system, and see if it fits with those wheels.

Mine work fine with AR-23 wheels in 15" x 7" variety.

Might fit with the Welds, if not then check out their 11" Serious Street system.

Hopefully they have a template on their site for that system as well so you can test it with a wheel.

Paper cutouts you print out and put on cardboard for testing.

Easy to try and pretty accurate as well.

Just my .02, I can't comment on the 11" upgrade but the 12's work very very well. :)

Thanks for the suggestion-- I'd downloaded that very template, but the scale is off. I'll call and ask for a mailed copy.

Anyone running the above brakes on Weld 15x7 draglites?

Other experiences with the 11" Serious Street brakes I mention above.

Thanks for the continued feedback.
