Well, my next mod will focus on cleaning up the Plenum/TB area. I currently run a stock plenum and TB with a Power plate.
I was considering just having the stock stuff cleaned up a bit, but the matched, polished Accufab combo on PTE's site looks pretty trick.
For those of you running this setup:
1. Is this a simple bolt-on or is modification to existing parts required (for example, throttle cable bracket).
2. Will I need to recalibrate the throttle cable to ensure that the butterfly is opening as much as it should at WOT or is this accounted for in the new TB?
I'm not expecting a tremendous performance gain, but I figure that it can't hurt to clean up that bottleneck of the stock TB and Plenum.
Real quick, my combo is: TA49, 009's, all fuel mods, THDP, Mease bellmouthed IC, Testa 100 oct. chip, Big Mouth Cold Air, no cat, ATR SS exhuast, stock long block, blah blah blah.
