All I can say is WOW,Never knew this show existed until Monday when my boss told me about it at lunch,,I am hooked ,since Monday I have watched all of the first season and 3 episodes from season 2,looks like tonight will be an alnighter... I should be in the garage working, but screw it the car never will be finished.. :p

That is a great show . My girlfriend got me hooked on Nip/Tuck also.

If you liked Dexter, I'd highly recommend picking up the DVD's of HBO's The Wire. They're similar in that the season starts off slow and then picks up and has lots of twists at the end, but I could never see the twists coming in The Wire like I did in Dexter.

Always Liked Nip/Tuck,but Dexter is much better....
thanks for the tip on "The Wire"
gonna have to find it..

Wow, it's hard for me to believe that there are people who have not followed The Wire for the last 7-8 years! I guess if one didn't have HBO they would not see it. That show is as close to the real deal cop show as it gets. I still think the first season was the best. "Homicide life on the streets" was also one of the best shows ever IMO. Both shows out of Baltimore as well.

I have a friend I grew up with. Were both going to work in Baltimore but I got hired with the Maryland SP but reterned to my own dept. Didn't wan't to spend my life on the highway. Two each his own I guess. Troopers make a lot more money then I do tho in the NE. My friend was shot (3) times (wearing vest) and retired later but he was a Baltimore City narcotics detective for many years in the late 90's and said that many of the stories in both "The Wire" and "Homicide life on the streets" were based on real life Baltimore City case files and had people on the writing staff that were former Baltimore City Police. That's what makes "The Wire" a great show cause sometimes the criminal would win and fewer times the Cop would win. The truth.

I can't see watching that show ever getting old. Still pissed about "Omar"!

Two great shows... however I don't have Showtime and the only way I can catch a show of Dexter is via CBS on Sunday nights around 11pm EST. I guess those are repeats and at the same time they are promoting it so you can get Showtime... But the show is great!

Sunday 10 PM Eastern, last prime time slot. I'm just praying that somehow they keep showing them this fall, since I don't get Showtime. Love it.

That's what I thought, but last night they played it at 11pm. Maybe because they had sorry a$$ show of big brother or something like that...

I love dexter. I don't get showtime so i've been watching them on the net. :( How much does cbs edit the show?

MY wife thinks I am nuts ,I watched like 18 episodes in a week....I told Her I think Dexter is my Brother...Now she really thinks I am nuts....:o :o

Supposed to be 10 pm, but you are right, last night the basketball tourney ran late so it was almost an hour behind schedule.

The Showtime version has lots of cussing for one. And boobies! So you know that will get edited, the boobs and naughty words.

And I watched both seasons in one week about 2 weeks ago. Here's hoping new shows are coming soon?

I agree. Dexter is one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. My Netflix list is all Dexter....

I got Showtime just for Dexter! I dont regret it a bit. I got some package wwith Showtime and other channels, even at a discount. The wife and I cant wait for season 4.

I did too! For Weeds and Dexter. Weeds has gotten out of hand and I now consider it as "shark-jumping" as Lost.

Has anybody caught the pilot of Nurse Jackie? That show is going to be awesome.

Don't have cable but when the writers strike was on I got into Dexter myself. Wish CBS would put it back on for the summer. I also miss Swingtown from last summer as well. Good shows but dish and cable are expenses I just can agree with right now.

X2 for Netflix. We get Dexter, Burn Notice, 24, Battlestar Galactica and any other series we'd like to watch.

I don't bother trying to catch episodes on TV because if you miss one you're in the dark. Just easier this way AND you an watch back to back w/o interruptions.;)
