Once the paper work is finished and signed your in the clear unless there was odometer fraud they suspected. It would be the same thing if you wrecked the car and had it fixed with no insurance and they found out.Too bad. Now if they checked before receiving the car you might have to explain

Wouldn't the Diablo Trinity tuner do what you are looking for? Changes shift points, ability to turn off MDS, etc. Pretty simple install. And you can go back to the stock tune anytime.
