I have heard of some running them Kevin, but if you are using it as a driver you will be hating life at the gas pump. If you do make the change your best bet will be the TH400. A much stronger trans in my view.

If you get a transmission crossmember out of a Turbo 200 (not a 200r4) car, it will pretty much bolt in. There are 3 crossmember mounts. Two on one side and one on the other. Use both of the mounts closest to the engine. The only "hard" part is getting the cable and shifter to work. But the boost will screw with the way the tranny shifts.

thanks for the info.i have a tci 3000 converter i am going to use,how can you get around the boost screwing up the modulator?

I am working on that now. I am going to try a manual valve body. Blower Drive System (BDS) and Transgo make widget that will take care of the problem. Mine just shifts real slow going into second, drive is fine.
