I'm driving up to Niagara falls & staying in Canada this weekend. Anything worth checking out?
May take a ride to Toronto also? anything car related to do there?

Your a week early. The Niagara Falls beer festival is on from the 13-14th
But if u have not seen the falls they r amazing in themselves

Lots and lots of water, been there several times, spectacular falls but sort of tourists trappy in the town itself

Many years ago, we did three days in Toronto. Went to the science museum, zoo, CN tower, and lakefront park. We then went on up the St. Lawrence to Kingston and did a half-day boat tour of the Thousand Islands...

I've heard that going over the falls inside a wood barrel is a smash!

Just curious, do you need a passport to cross into Canada?

The Canadian side is much nicer. I'd recommend a nice drive to Niagara on the lake, I've done the whirlpool jet boat tour on the Niagara as well, it's a blast and i recommend that for sure. With the strong America dollar vs oir Canadian dollarette the helicopter tour would be a good deal as well, you'll get a good bang for your buck.

As for Toronto, you'd be looking at a couple of hour drive depending on traffic. It's a big busy city always something to do but I hate crowds and such. There is a distillery region, some restaurants etc... there is the CN tower and Ripley aquarium if you want to play tourist.

The fireworks are at 10 PM August 5, 7, 10, 12 and the 14th. Bring comfortable walking shoes. Have a great time, weather is looking good for you.

When are you coming? Where are you coming from? I live about 15 minutes from the falls. There's a ton of stuff to do this weekend. I will be at Lancaster Dragway running my GN on Friday night. They have their regular schedule plus 4 alcohol funny cars. It's only $15 for adults for all access pit pass. $7 for students under 17. There's usually 2-3 turbo Buicks there.

On Saturday at Gratwick park is Thunder on the Niagara which is a large boat racing event combined with a big car show. Probably 300-500 cars. I may enter the car show depending if I have any energy from the drags. Also Saturday is drag racing at Toronto Motorsports Park in Canada. I'm not sure if they are having any special cars. You can check their website. I have a friend of mine who is going. Running his GN. Downtown Buffalo always has something going on at Canalside. Concerts and whatever. I made a list for a friend visiting the area:
