Hey guys,

I am new here and have a few questions since you guys are very familiar with Water Injection I thought I would ask. Firstly below is the setup I have with the diagram at the bottom. The questions I have is where it says ECU Drive. I believe 2 wires go from the High Speed Valve to the fuel injector wires, then one goes to the Hobbs Pressure Switch. I am looking for a writeup or a wirediagram or pic of where the wires goto the fuel injector wires. Any help would be appreaciated.

Also, below is a link to a setup similiar to mine, I just cant see where the HSV wires go....

PS - Nice cars, I drive 30000 mi a year or I would get one :( .

I believe the ecu commands the HSV to regulate its output. The line from your injector is probably going to go to the ecu as well. I doubt you would tie this valve into your fuel injector harness. Unless thats the design and you play with nozzles till you get it rite.

Typically the Buick powered cars dont get into the aquamist stuff due to the alcohol incompatability with theyre systems. At best only some use the nozzles. I dont know of a buick with a full blown aquamist setup. Not that it doesnt exist, just we have gotten better performance results with a lot less $$$$ .

Good luck.

Hey Shore,

Aquamist suggests that the ECU drive for a HSV is the injector harness. Basically you parallel the HSV with an injector. I've always wondered how the additional loading would affect the injector you tie it to, but Aquamist afficionados say it is fine. If you haven't already spoken with Richard Lamb in the UK, try Brad at kcsaab.com. Mention my name.

As for Buick owners not using Aquamist, the real reason is that we're cheap! :D Seriously, our motors eat up so much fluid that we would need 2, if not 3 Aquamist pumps to keep up. That gets very pricey. Otherwise, Aquamist has stated to me that their systems are compatible with methanol.

Keep us posted.
