Are 86/7 T Type Wheels the Same as 84/5?

Are 86/7 T Type wheels the same as 84/85 except for gray paint on the older ones?

same wheels, but the 84-85 GN wheels were painted black

Aside from the 84-85 having the black inserts, the part that was not painted was of a smooth like machined surface, whereas the 86-87 wheels were of an etched like flat aluminum.

86-87 "T" Wheels are NOT the same as 84-85 "T" Wheels BUT Like mentioned they are the SAME as the GN wheels with exception that the recessed areas were painted black. HTH
