After the next 500 miles, I guarantee most of the lifter noise, if not all of it, will be gone.Blown&Injected said:roller lifters and rockers and I must strain to hear any difference in noise.
Of course some of the roller lifters have issues. After hunderds of miles I fire up the other day and hear a tapshut down and fire up after a few hours and it is quiet - not the first time some have stuck

fired up last night and still quiet
If your using Scorpion rockers with aluminums, it will sound like a sewing machine. With aluminums, T&D's are a must!!!!! But like I said before, no matter what hyd. roller lifter used in our motors, there will always be some ever so slight noise. Comp cam lifters seem to be the better lifter.turbo2nr said:Mine makes way more noise with aluminum heads, and hydro-roll-o-matic.
Those bars must be clattering, and maybe aluminum makes more noise??
sorry - got distracted by some jerk in the political forum need to stay here!!!slimtastic said:are you running adjustable rockers? or the stock rockers? itll make a difference on a roller cam.
