I am gearing up to rebuild this cz 2004r. Right now I am gathering all the parts I will need and replace. I will be using ck's recalibration kit and a 111 or 112 servo. I have both but I am debating on whether I should waste the 112 on this trans. It will only be bolted to a sbc 350. I believe I have a hardened sun shell already but the stator will need to be replaced. As for the input shaft do I have the updated better one or is this the junk one? As for the direct drum I have a few worries and questions. At the top of the drum in photo direct2 the tangs seems to have a cavern inside them. I used a depth mic and they are about 75 thousands deep inside the tang. What is your opinions on this drum? If this is too much wear what would cause the sun shell to do this much damage? Love learning about transmission because I know the least about them. Thank You for all your help. I am sure I will have more questions.
