art carr deep pan

just bought an art carr pan and need to what type of filter to use and if i have to mill down the pedestals in the bottom. i looked at a 700 r 4 filter and the neck was the same size as the 200 r4 when placed side to side. how much do you mill so that the filter wont drop out and what do you do with the pressure switch. thanks
