Art Carr Extreme Duty Trans Question

Just got one of these, but it doesnt have a trans brake. I want to install one, but Im not sure if there is a difference/problem with the Art Carr shift kit vs the many others out there. Any input? I shouldnt have a problem should I? Thanks as always!

PS- What fluid should I run? Good old Dex?

if you go wth a stage right style its not a problem, I prefer the Bat brake(i have one) but it will require mods to the trans but comes already "shift kitted" But i LOVE mine.
