Tried this question in the Showcar Restoration forum, but no response. I replaced the seal on my Astroroof a few months ago. Took the whole assembly out and cleaned, lubed, etc. Worked well but i noticed a sealing problem in the passenger side front corner; roof does not push up tightly against the roof cutout. sooooo... of course it leaks a little.
any tips on aligning the roller bracket bolts when attaching to the window, so that you get the best window alignment with the roof and best seal?
Also, the glass does not go all the way back on the track anymore. seems like it runs into something after lowering and starting back into roof cavity. or the white lithium grease i used for lube is gummed up the works.
