Does anyone have ANY Astroroof parts??????? Mine is out, the motor is on the fritz and the cables are messed up. Need a lot of various parts....

Where in St Louis?
Member TroyzT was getting rid of a bunch of parts, he may have what you need. He is in Warrenton. Is this a factory CF5 astroroof or an aftermarket?

One part that is driving me nuts is how the hell does the switch mount????? there has to be a bracket that holds it in place, right? If so, does anyone have any pic or diagram of that bracket? I have learned that the switch is just simply a power window switch, so I bought one of those. I also picked up a power window wire harness and made it work. One question I have is when the sunroof closes, does it close directly against the metal in the roof or is there a seal of some sort glued to the roof that the sunroof seal then seals against? Does that make sense???? See the attached pic. It is looking up at my bare roof from the passenger side. So is the roof just bare around the edge or is there some type of other seal that affixes to it

The seal on a CF5 car should be on the glass I believe

Yep, getting ready to order that one for the sunroof glass but was curious if there was an additional one that is glued inside the roof as well or if it was just metal........
 
My moonroof is aftermarket, it needs a seal for the roof itself...body guy removed it and I didnt get it back !! SUCKS...Dont know if I can get one anywhere yet.

I have an NOS Astrroof motor. Not cheap but brand new, never installed in the GM box. No seal on the roof of the car, only on the Astroroof itself.

There are two seal for the roof and you can get them aftermarket. One seal goes on the glass its self, and one seal goes around the whole sunroof module and seals it to the roof. I just bought a seal kit for mine from Napa. Fits pretty good.
